The conversion of the kennel block into a cattery was completed by John Page - Prestige Home Improvements based in Wallasey.
John provided a very professional service – initial quote – that he honoured for three months until works started and covered all aspects of the conversion. He adapted to changes and additions to the original specification and put more workers onto the project – as required – to ensure that it was completed on time.
The cattery was opened in August 2014 and we are already re-homing an additional 30 cats (around 85 cats total) per month.
Thanks to The Lawnmower Company for keeping our fields and lawns neat and tidy at no cost to us.
The RSPCA as a charity will, by all lawful means, prevent cruelty, promote kindess to and alleviate suffering to all animals.
Welcome to the Wirral & Chester Branch of the RSPCA.
We work closely with RSPCA Inspectors to provide direct animal welfare services in these areas. This includes veterinary care and safe homes for unwanted animals and those that the RSPCA Inspectors have rescued from harm.
We are an independent charity and we are self-funding, raising money locally and relying on fundraising activities and public support to allow us to continue rescuing and giving animals in our community a second chance.

The Chester Shop is run by volunteers and raises around £30,000 each year.
We are always grateful for good quality brick-a-brac but due to the small size of the shop we cannot accept larger items.
Please call the shop for further information.
